Kharazmi Award Has Been Given to Professor Habib Zaidi, the Senior Physicist at the Geneva School of Medicine in Switzerland and Visiting Professor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS)

On Monday, March 4th, 2019, during the ceremony of appreciation of the researchers and innovators of Kharazmi Festival, president of Iran honored Professor Zaidi, the senior physicist at the Geneva School of Medicine in Switzerland and visiting professor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).
Professor Habib Zaidi, a senior physicist, faculty member and head of the lab of PET tools and neuroimaging at the School of Medicine at the Geneva Hospital in Switzerland, by presenting the project titled "Advanced Hybrid Imaging System" in the Festival, received the Khwarizmi award from Iran president.
It should be noted that this year, 271 internal projects and 111 projects from 40 countries around the world participated in this festival. In the thirty-second period of the festival, 10 domestic projects and 6 international projects were selected from scholars of the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Greece, China and the United States for their outstanding contribution in science and innovation.
Furthermore, on Tuesday, March 5th the visiting professor of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences delivered a lecture titled "A new horizon in the field of animal imaging in pre-clinical and clinical research" at TUMS National Brain Mapping Lab and was welcomed by Iranian Professors and students. It should be noted that Professor Zaidi has started his activities as a visiting professor of TUMS since February 2019.
